Keith A. Vendola, MD, MBA
Head of Corporate Development

Dr. Vendola was appointed Head of Corporate Development at DiObex in October 2007. Since 2001, Dr. Vendola has contributed to teams who have successfully assisted healthcare companies in the raise of over $500 million of equity and debt capital.

Dr. Vendola most recently served as Senior Director, Business Development of Threshold Pharmaceuticals. Joining the company in 2004, Keith's responsibilities included establishing strategic partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies, in-licensing therapeutics and helping to raise capital. Keith's financial experience began as an investment banker within the healthcare groups of Banc of America Securities and Chase H&Q. Prior to Wall Street, Keith worked in marketing at Novartis and as a research fellow within the NIH’s Developmental Endocrinology Branch, where he authored and co-authored several peer reviewed basic research articles.

Dr. Vendola has completed an executive education program at Harvard Business School focused on strategic negotiations, earned his MBA from Kellogg, MD from Dartmouth and BA in psychology from Holy Cross, where he graduated with honors.
