Bruce W. Carlson, BSIE, MBA
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Carlson was appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at DiObex in March 2004. Mr. Carlson has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, and biotechnology industries. His diverse experience includes operational and strategic planning, manufacturing, sales and marketing support, cross-functional teamwork, and policy setting and compliance. Previously, Mr. Carlson was a consultant to ARYx Therapeutics. He joined ARYx prior to their first professional financing and helped formulate the business and financial plans to secure $25 million in funding. Over a period of 3 years, he established key financial systems and controls and developed the financial models for a Series D raise of $55 million. Mr. Carlson spent the majority of his career at Warner-Lambert (before its acquisition by Pfizer), where he had financial responsibility for a number of key business units.

Mr. Carlson holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
