DiObex is a biotechnology company engaged in the development of novel products for diabetes.

Our pipeline includes two programs which address a significant unmet medical need in the prevention of insulin induced hypoglycemia, a major limitation in the aggressive management of hyperglycemia in diabetes.

Our Product Candidates

DIO-901 (very low dose glucagon), VLDG™, is in development in an extended release formulation for the prevention of insulin induced hypoglycemia. In patients with type 1 diabetes (T1DM), optimizing glycemic control via insulin intensification, has been shown to delay the onset and slow the progression of diabetic retinopathy, nephropathy, and neuropathy, but also carries the downside risk of increased hypoglycemia. DIO-901 is designed to delay or avert nocturnal hypoglycemia induced by insulin intensification. DIO-901 has received Fast Track status from the Food and Drug Administration.
